Lynn has over fifteen years of professional experience in public and private accounting. Her public accounting experience includes providing financial advisory, auditing, and consultation services to large complex global organizations including capital market transactions, capital market readiness activities, new accounting standard implementation, business combination transactions, foreign currency and consolidation matters, and financial reporting.
Prior to joining Calabrese Consulting in 2024, Lynn operated her own advisory firm for three years, providing outsourced CFO and SEC reporting services to private and public companies in the US. She focused primarily on the construction, professional services, retail, and technology industries where she assisted middle-market companies with audit preparation (including converting books of record from cash to US GAAP), drafting financial statements, ERP implementations, performing current state assessments of a business’ operations (inclusive of findings, recommendations and implementation plan), streamlining accounting close processes to reduce closes to five business days, advising business owners on account matters related to the sale of a business, and navigating sales tax audits.
Lynn is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus of Accounting and Northeastern University with a Master of Science in Accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Lynn is also the founder of Finn’s Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to improve financial literacy of teenagers and young adults through delivery of targeted financial education programs.
